No, it somehow shows your nation, even if you dont select a country in steam and set these options as private in steam. I have no idea on how these sites get the nations.

Yup itās not Steam, the sites still see right through the fake country I set up on my account. Surprisingly itās not MS either, because when I looked around on AoEnexus tons of players who somehow didnāt get their nationality revealed are on the Microsoft store version.
Thatās odd because Iāve never played the game from the country it shows for me. I suspect then that it takes info based on where you purchased the game from. I bought the game with a credit card issued from another country ā this country matches the fake country in my steam and of the bank where the CC was issued.
Its from your ip address. If you use a vpn you can have them think your from somewhere else. With that vpn info they could get alot closer then country if they wanted.
