Well, the message says there will be Vikings, but it doesn’t say there won’t be anything else.
Something similar happened with Yu Fei Legacy; they initially promised only a campaign, and then gave us another civilization, Jin Dinasty
On the other hand, they promised a Crucible level with Vikings, AND a 2nd main civ with them, so I’m hoping for that.
Since 2025, every new civilization has been released with some historical single-player content (Art of War, Crucible, Campaign), and I feel that the developers are putting more effort into giving the civilization a good historical representation, because they consider real scenarios where these civilizations fought, which is great.
