So we have revolutions we will give them a option to reach imperial age. They all have unique merc cards when they reach imperial age those mercs will be their main units, units before revolting will be mostly removed.Their revolutionary soldiers will also have a option to upgrade too.Lets say Egypt will have a only mamluke, sennar horseman and other mercs in their cards as main units + they will have the revolutionary as main heavy inf. They wont be able to create any different unit.Maybe they can be allowed to create cannons. Their imperial age card will be cost same gold as normal imperial age.
I think this simple change will add lots of option to the game.
For example Barbary State will only have Barbary Warriors,Corsair Marksmen and Berber Camel Riders as trainable units others will be removed and they will get their imperial unit upgrade. Also canon crew changed to berbers operating them.
OR
For example Haiti they will have Pickets,Pirates,Akan Ankobias and Dahomey Amazons as only trainable units + imperial canons. Also canon crew could be changed to like pirates operates the guns now.
Also they need imperial age gather upgrades too.
A dlc without making a dlc amazing i think.
Note :Some of the op revolution cards need to be removed like infinite elephants of Indonesia or infinite javelins of Maya need to go.

I’ve always said that all revolutions should be similar to the French Revolution or the Mayan Revolution; they should all allow you to reach the Imperial Age in some way, whether by adding cards to send the Capitol or to activate upgrades for Imperial military units. These upgrades could have a cost so that accessing Imperial Age technologies isn’t so easy. Revolutions like those of Hungary, Romania, Indonesia, Haiti, Egypt, and the Barbary States should be reworked; these are the revolutions with the least content in their decks.

On the other hand, civilizations like Malta and Italy should have age advancements just like Mexico and the United States, only these would be alliances with republics, and the options would be more limited, something similar to what was done with the Templar Knights’ age advancement mechanic in Age of Empires 4. In the end, revolutions would be removed for Malta and Italy and replaced with the Sovereign Military Order of Malta and the Garibaldian Revolution for Italy as revolution options in the Industrial Age.
We don’t really need variant civilizations; what we need is a complete overhaul of all the revolutions to bring them up to par with the French and Mayan Revolutions, which are the most comprehensive so far. This would greatly expand replayability for each civilization in Age of Empires 3. They should also add the Belgian Revolution for Holland, the Greek Revolution for the Ottomans, and the Scottish or Irish Revolution for England.

They need work to Maya is too op for treaty games. They need to balance broken cards and even infinite fort limit need to be removed. Most of the revolts need a new design.Their unique bonuses could stay tho.I hope they do that. Its easy thing to do i guess.

That’s right, hopefully the developers will start working on these kinds of requests to make amends for the damage they did to fans last year with the DLC cancellation. What they did was a huge blow to all the franchise’s fans. It’s not enough to say they made a mistake, that what they said was premature, and that they didn’t know what they were doing. They have to rectify that mistake one way or another, and the best way is by adding new content to the game and releasing a patch to fix balance issues. It’s the best way to apologize for all the lies they’ve told and for the poor communication that’s been going on for the last two years.
