Depends on what you want to do. The Brits are among the slowest now. You only have one option to get in gear.

Fastest has to be Otts and Lakota. No civ can be on top of you in force faster than them.

Ok then, does anyone know which civs have the fastest gather rate when in a long treaty game? Like in a game where you’ve done your best to max out all your economic home city shipments and techs. Are there even any standout civs?

Do you guys play games using Tycoon Mode?

  • Yes - and I like it
  • Yes - but I don’t like it
  • No - because I’m not interested
  • No - I’ve never tried

With the new merc options dutch feels really good now. At late stages the extra gold and pop is great for spamming cannons.

British are nothing special late game.

in treaty with Cowing they are extremely good, but cowing is really micro intensive

with cowing British can easily get above 2600 score in treaty, most factions are averaging about 2100-2200. a perfect portugese might get 2400, a perfect British can do more than 2800.

What does that scores are from?? I have seen this kind of comments repeately but I dont get where people get these numbers from. Thats not the score shown on screen…

so at treaty end (40 mins) your score represent how well you have boomed, and in turn there are certain expectations on how well you should have done based on what faction you play. essentially score is all your resources gathered and invested in things like buildings, units, research etc. the higher the number the stronger the eco.

for DE they changed scores a bit so you have to add 2 zeroes on the end (so 260.000 instead of 2600) but the idea stay the same and people still talk the way they did in legacy. 1 score in legacy was the equivalent of 100 resources, and now it is 1 resource, either invested or in stockpile, as you lose units your score goes down and as you stockpile it goes up.
