Is there a way to edit the scenarios from the campaigns in this game? I’ve seen stuff for aoe2 and online I’ve found stuff for the original version, but the definitive edition has got me stuck on how to do this. Opening up a file through “select scenario file” asks me to open the files through an external source which doesn’t exist. Any ideas?

I guess one could copy the original scenario files and paste them into the folder that is opened by default when selecting scenarios.
In that case I think it should be possible to edit original campaign scenarios.
Might be some days before I could try that but thanks for the suggestion!

Extracting campaign files is pretty easy, actually, I use the commandline packer and unpacker for cpn/cpx/aoecpn/aoe2campaign files from Age of Empires, which is very fast and convenient to use.
Did a download and extract for the unpacker exe but my anti-virus says its lethal and removed the exe. Any ideas??
