ISSUE EXPERIENCED
When choosing new cards for the first campaign deck, the fort card seems to be available but can’t be selected. This is because the card unlocks at level 10, but the interface doesn’t tell you. Some other cards from the same campaign seems to have this problem.
FREQUENCY OF ISSUE
-
100% of the time / matches I play (ALWAYS)
REPRODUCTION STEPS
Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:
- Open the available cards for the fist campaign deck
- Try to choose the fort card bellow level 10
EXPECTED RESULT
The card should tell you you need a homecity at level 10.
ACTUAL RESULT
Card can’t be unlocked bellow level 10 but it doesn’t tell you.
IMAGE & ATTACHMENTS
If i am not mistaken fort card needed lvl 10 home city level. So its possible it still needs that, but since they removed this feature from your normal city it’s likely game won’t give you that information.
I had a level 10 home city and couldnt take it, unfortunately. If you need a level, it also should say so in the card.
From screenshot I see that you have level 6. But if you have 10 then it means their game is buggy because of the new system. Anyway home city cards use to have 1 ; 10 ; 25 and 40 lvl requirement.
So sorry, you were right: it unlocks at level 10. I was confused because when viewing the homecity from earlier levels, it shows you the city level from that particular point in the campaign, not from the full unlocked campaign if you’ve finished. So the “bug” is that it’ doesn’t tell you in game.
Now this opens a new question for me: If there a way to replay a campaign with all the cards you’ve unlocked in the first run? I don’t remember if you could in the original game so I don’t know if it’s a feature or a bug. Anyway, I’m editing the post, thank you for helping me!
I played that campaign so many years ago, but what I remember it was good idea waste time and making more xp so I would get more and better cards in your campaign and if I remember correctly you could have more cards than 25 in Blood and Ice campaign, but most likely because to their new system this is not possible.
You wont have more cards if you play again, but if you take your mission again and get more xp then in next level you might have more cards because in previous lvl you got more xp.
My question is, if I already completed the campaign, when I play it again would I be able to use all my cards or do I have to unlock them again?
No you wont have cards that you unlocked after, but if you make that scenario again and get more xp game will make this as your new progression for next one.
For example in your first time lets say you managed to get lvl 3 home city for next scenario. For some reason you decided to play it again and you get more xp and get home city level 4 so instead playing your next scenario with home city lvl 3 you can do it with home city 4. - If you want to get more xp and more cards you actually have to start campaign again from beginning, if you just pick one of the scenarios from campaign it won’t matter.
