A while back Champion got +1 pierce armor with Gambesons, and many infantry UU’s got +1 Pierce armor as well. I think Samurai should also get it when you upgrade to Elite Samurai. Maybe you have to make the Elite Samurai upgrade slightly more expensive, but I’ve tested and the +1 pierce armor in post imp seem fine on Samurai just like it is on the Champion.
