Enemy convoy stops moving in A Rescue in the Wilderness

:arrow_forward: ISSUE EXPERIENCED

In the ‘A Rescue in the Wilderness’ scenario of the China campaign, the enemy convoy escorting the Villagers stops moving after arriving at the first base. As the attached screenshot shows, I have been given enough time to be able to age up and train artillery to break into the first base.

  • 100% of the time / matches I play (ALWAYS)

:arrow_forward: REPRODUCTION STEPS

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Select Story Mode
  2. Select The Asian Dynasties
  3. Select China
  4. Select A Rescue in the Wilderness
  5. Play the scenario normally without attacking the first enemy base.

:arrow_forward: EXPECTED RESULT

The enemy convoy should stop only for a short period of time before moving to the next base, in order to pressure tha player to keep pushing forward.

Hello!
I have tried it again and it seems the bug doesn’t occur 100% of the time.
The bug will occur or not seemingly at random, but It’s bound to appear at some point over multiple restarts.

This is an example of the scenario playing normally:


As you can see, additional escorts and villagers spawn when the convoy arrives at the first base. A timer also appears above the Objectives.

Here’s an example of the bug occurring:


Neither additional units nor the timer appear.
The difficulty is the same, and more time elapsed before the screenshot was taken to see if the trigger appeared.
No orders were issued on any of my units.
