Error 0001.0001.ffffffffff

Hello everyone. I would like to express my sincere dissatisfaction with the developer regarding the error 0001.0001.fffffff that is affecting PS5 consoles. Unfortunately, I was “faced” with this problem on May 2nd and since then I have been unable to play online matches, which is the main focus of the game. I would like to point out that my criticism is not directed at the developers’ commendable work, but at the studio’s position itself in not resolving the problem as quickly as possible. This is terrible, it allows people who spent money on the game in its pre-sale to get upset about a situation like this and causes discredit among its users to the point of encouraging other people not to buy this game because it does not have proper support for PS5. Imagine going 21 consecutive days without being able to play against other players. The interest of PS5 users will only tend to decrease and cause an evasion of players from the platform.

I appreciate the understanding of the team that is investigating the case and working hard to resolve it. I hope this fix doesn’t take much longer than we users already expect.

Have same problem since days ago, have reinstalled several times. Changed account pass. Checked router ports… Opened a ticket on Microsoft support they send y back toPlayStation and no one is helping. They can keep those 50$ for a home that IS not working.

The potential fix for this is in the works.

Even after the last update, the problem persists. I’ve already reinstalled the game and recreated the database and nothing has changed…

Most players should find that Fix 1 or Fix 2 should resolve any outstanding issues. Fix 3 is only recommended if Fix 1 and Fix 2 have not fixed the problem on your PlayStation 5.

  • Fix 1: Fully reboot your PlayStation 5.
    • To reboot your PlayStation 5 press the PlayStation button on your controller, navigate to the power icon in the bottom right, use the Restart PS5 option and then wait for the restart to complete.
  • Fix 2: Switch your PlayStation 5 into Safe Mode and use Rebuild Database.
    • To apply this fix follow these steps:
      1. Make sure you have a cable to connect your PlayStation 5 controller directly to the console as this may be required for step 4. Also ensure you perform these steps with plenty of time for the console to complete the database rebuild. The time this takes will vary depending on the number of games on your console and other factors.
      2. Press the PlayStation button on your controller, navigate to the power icon in the bottom right, use the Turn Off PS5 option and then wait for your console to fully shutdown (give the console at least a minute to ensure it has fully completed shutdown).
      3. Hold down the power button on the front of your console until you hear a second beep. This will allow your PlayStation 5 to boot into Safe Mode.
      4. Connect your controller to the PlayStation 5 with a cable (if not already attached).
      5. You should see a Safe Mode menu visible. Select the “Clear Cache and Rebuild Database” option. And then confirm by selecting “Rebuild Database” followed by selecting OK when asked to confirm rebuilding.
      6. After the Rebuild Database has completed your PlayStation 5 will automatically restart in the normal mode.
  • Fix 3: Ensure you have uploaded anything related to AoM: Retold that you want to keep to the cloud. Delete your local cache. Uninstall AoM: Retold. Restart your PlayStation 5. Re-install AoM: Retold. Download your game data from the cloud.
    • To apply this fix follow these steps:
      1. Upload your data to the cloud if you are likely to have anything you want to keep (settings/save games/replays/etc). (Note: This step may require a PlayStation Plus subscription). Open the Settings menu from the home screen, scroll down and select “Saved Data and Game/App Settings”, select “Saved Data (PS5)”, select “Upload or Delete from Console”, select “Upload to Cloud Storage”, choose the game/s you want to upload data for and confirm you want to upload to the cloud storage.
      2. Delete your local cache. To complete this step follow the steps for Fix 2 and instead of choosing “Rebuild Database” instead choose “Clear System Software Cache” during step 5.
      3. Uninstall AoM: Retold. To uninstall games on the PlayStation 5, navigate to the game while on your home screen and press the “Options” button on your controller (three dots). Selecting “Delete” and following any prompts will uninstall the game.
      4. Restart your PlayStation 5 by pressing the PlayStation button on your controller, navigate to the power icon in the bottom right, use the Restart PS5 option and then wait for the restart to complete.
      5. Reinstall AoM: Retold.
      6. Download your cloud data. Repeat the first step and instead of selecting “Upload or Delete from Console” instead choose “Download or Delete from Cloud Storage” then choose to download AoM: Retold data. (Note: This step may require a PlayStation Plus subscription).
