On player report the error code 0x0…002 is thrown to the GUI.

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. File a player report
  2. The error is thrown to the GUI

:arrow_forward: EXPECTED RESULT

:point_down: What was SUPPOSED to happen if the bug you encountered were not present?
Player report is accepted without error.

:point_down: ALWAYS attach a PICTURE (.jpg, .png, .gif) or VIDEO (.mp4, YouTube link) that highlights the problem.

:point_down: Attach a SAVE GAME (.aoe2spgame) or GAME RECORDING (.aoe2record) of the match where you encountered the issue. Link it below if using an external file service.

This is not happening to us, could you provide to us a video?

Also the minidumps generated after your crashes could be really useful.

They can be found on “C:\Users\USER\Games\Age of Empires 2 DE\logs” will have date-time format, something like “AoE2DESteam-51577-2021.10.07-10.11.24.mdmp”.


In the meantime, can you try to verify your files in steam, and reinstall the game? Just in case to see if some files are not ok in your local pc

I can’t send you minidumps of mine, because they are not generated by the error on the player report.
The app doesn’t exit on the error and I can use the GUI normally.
There is no minidump for the time period I had the app open and the error occured.

If someone else has this error also, or I will report a player again, I will take a look into it again.
@UnitedOlive809 do you also have this error?

It works again, I guess the report service was temporary offline.
