Issue:

The Escape the Underworld mission softlocks if you forget to pick up one of the relics and already deliver any of the ones you’ve collected. The game lets you deliver to the temple, however you then can never complete the step of collecting all 3 relics so it doesn’t progress and it seems like there is no way to get the relic back from the temple.

Repro Steps:

  1. Play through the mission collecting only 2/3 relics
  2. Reach the final section of the temples and deliver the 2 relics.
  3. Go back and collect the missing 3rd relic
  4. Deliver the last relic
  5. Nothing happens, no apparent way to continue

I didn’t play through the entire mission again to verify since it’s already been a drag and I need to restart to complete it already but it seems like it would be a consistent reproduction.

Thank you for explaining the issue, I thought it was just the whole mission that was F’d. I guess I have to redo the mission. That is what I get for watching a vid while replaying and missing the second relic

I have this exact same issue on Xbox.

Got to the end with the temples and realised that I’d not collected the 2nd relic.

Deposited relics 1 and 3 then I got a hero to go back across the river, pick up the 2nd relic and then go back to the temple.

It will not let me deposit the last relic and the mission is bugged.

Worth waiting for a patch or should I just restart?

You’d be better off restarting, it is unpredictable how long will it take to patch

The game says bring 3 relics TO temple. Not get them into temple. How do you fail to notice the relic in the first place the game always leads you to them.

You just cruise to the mission and miss that it’s lying there.

Also yes, the mission finishes if you just bring all three relics to that area, a simple and reasonable to solution would be to just prevent relics to be placed in any of the temples (in the weird case the game doesn’t provide that option just stuff the temples with garbage relics so they are full) to avoid having this bug be an issue.

For all the people having the same issue, please upvote the original post so it has a better chance of the developers acknowledging and fixing it.
