I mean, apart from knowing that the new patch will come in November, do we know a bit more accurate when?
I’m not pretending the exact day of course, just to know if it will be the next week, or the end of the month, or in the middle.

Hi @DoctBaghi, The new update will likely come out around the 1st anniversary date of the game’s release which is November 14, 2020.

End of the month is rather unlikely, I don’t think they would have announced the update so early if it was scheduled this late.

I feel that thee announcement is to early for November 14th but kind of late for the end of the month (Nov) as they usually do it

This balance patch is stressing me out. I’m kind of bored of playing the game right now knowing that big changes are coming, so I truly hope it comes out today.

balances are fine right now. we just want to see bugs fixed.

I agree with you, balance is quite fine rn, that’s why it’s stressing out.
In b4 each civ gets changed. Weak civs become op, strong civs become trash 
they may do that, get people to join back up and play.
in dota2 they do take this approach often. major patch changes a lot give new players more incentive to play that even older players have to learn new stuff constantly. not sure if aoe2 will take this approach.
those are small matter:
- game desync
- game auto close to desktop
- game crash
- multiplayer cant restore saved game
- mod support is really bad has a ton of issue
- game lack features to filter out laggers
- chat delay due to censoring system
- double click select units will select ones outside of screen
way too many problems.

Just a teaser for the Battle Royale Mode nothing else. Such a big update should have the community test them before launching.

Yeah thats totally the testing they speak of. An advertising event for the new fun mode… That replaces any beta and playtesting. And even then it shows how fragile the patch is when several crashes happened just in this little test environment.
I’d consider pros the actual playtesters.
Still, they are testing it.
