So.. today I learned the German AI will only age up to Imperial using the General or El Presidente. Kinda odd.

Anyway, Poland and Denmark revolts and a slight Hungarian rework. Also Prussians through an age V politician for the Germans.

Please let me know if any unintended bugs happen.. like AI’s not aging up lol.

Feedback on especially the Danish revolt is appreciated.

I’m guessing this makes the Polish revolt one redundant?

Yes, I’ve unpublished the Polish revolt mod. Everything that was in there is also in this new mod.

:czechia: Kingdom of Bohemia and Stage II (like Napoleonic Era) Czechoslovakia as German revolutions?

I think I can even support such project with custom made Hussite cannoneers, Hussite Wagons or Czechoslovak Legionaries as well as special Battery cannon artillery. I was thinking about Czechoslovak revolution for Austrian civ, but sadly didn’t have enough time to develop it.

Do you plan on addding more languages? I can help with Brazilian Portuguese.

By the way, there’s a mod that makes it possible for revolts to age up into imperial, but it seems to be incompatible with this one, because after revolting to Denmark it changed me to Argentina. lol

Also leaving out Greece is a bit of a waste imo.

I don’t have it planned, currently with my mod Germans have 5 revolution options which I think should be the max. I’m allready pushing it a little with the age V politician also kinda doing a revolt. I’m also weary of adding stuff from age of pirates, I’m trying to have the mod stay compatible with it since I like having it active

Any linguistic help is appreciated, but the mod is a work in progress.

I try to have the mod do as much additive modding as possible, but other mods that do stuff with revolts might not be compatible. I dont know how the Imperial revolts mod works but that seems like a weird interaction.

Its the next addition in the current planning.

Why does this thread keep being archived and unarchived? Is that what happens when a mod gets updated?

Yeah, thanks for the answer. Age of Pirates compatibility is not a big deal, and we should be able to help you make it not just compatible but also maintain compatibility for the future. Czechoslovakia is actually not a German revolution anyway. I’m just waiting when someone comes up with a high-end Austrian civ mod, not just the Austrian flag for German civ and renaming Berlin to Vienna. So if you have these ambitions, just let me know.

Yes, that happens every time. I had some small issues to fix, but discovered new ones after uploading the fix.

I do not have those ambitions, I always considered the German civ Austrian enough and think a seperate Austrian civ is redundant. A new leader and some renames, and then some Hungarian cards sprinkled in is enough for me to call them Austrians instead. I’m of the opinion a new civ would be Prussians instead, and there is already a detailed Prussian mod available made by JiMMy12013 (who also made an excellent Denmark mod) that also reworks the Germans to the Austrians. In such a mod your Bohemain revolt idea can be used with those Austrians.

I think if I stay away from touching the AI, compatability with age of Pirates shouldnt prove much of an issue. But I’d like to keep an eye on it anyway.

To prevent this thread from being archived and unarchived, it should not be posted from within the game, but rather from the ageofempires.com page (compressed in a .ZIP file).
