Expectations for arena of the gods mode

What are your expectations for this game mode?

I think there will be matches with buffs and debuffs and maybe some special objectives, but what I think most about this mode is the phrase “where the gods themselves do battle”, will we have units of the gods to battle in this mode? I personally would love it, or some unique special units would be very nice.

We already know that this mode will come out post launch, but for me that’s not a problem as long they do it right.

I guess it will be very similar to northgard’s conquest mode (judging on the ‘‘leaked’’ screenshot from the past). A row of pickable challenges/missions where you get different permanent boni for future challenges (or some kind of skill points to unlock this boni). And you can play it in coop. Just my thoughts after seeing the screenshot. It looked very similar.

I wonder if this mode will even have economy.
