As someone who has been advocating for the unit UI in AoE2 to be similar to that in AoE4, I am elated to see it come up. Let us see what’s up:
Different attack icon for pierce attack: This one really goes under the radar, because many people assume that all ranged units do pierce damage. This will help differentiate TA, Gbetos, Chakrams, and especially Mangonels and Bombard Cannons which deal melee damage at range. Though, I must point out that there are some units which deal both types of damage, but the UI only shows the higher one.
Decimals allowed in range: This is minor because the only unit with non-integer range is Fire Galley line, whose range is being increased from 2.49 to 2.50.
Minimum range: Yes, finally!! Something which is really important for siege.
Blast radius: It’s okay I guess, will help you check for Warwolf and Druzhina. I say okay, not great since different types of units have different types of blast attack.
Speed: Yikes! The most important parameter missing till now.
RoF: The second most important parameter missing.
Aura: I hate this one. It is of no practical use how many units are receiving aura from you, but might be good on the Monaspa.
Regeneration: Another good one.
Work rate: I guess it matters only for civilian units and Serjeants, but it’s great to have. Certainly one of the most important in the early game.
everything they included is good, but i was hoping we’d have the unit bonus damage in here as well, its nonsense to have to guess that or use mods to see
In addition, DE still behaves the same as civs belonging to one Architecture style (e.g. Aztecs, Mayans and Inca) have the same base UI + a unique icon

Come up where? What is the source for any of this? Please provide context for posts like this, don’t assume everyone knows where to get all the inside information.
