Extreme AI slinging is ruining the game

Almost every time when a meso or goth pocket exists, all the AIs sling their resources to that pocket so that it can fast imp and spam eagles. This tactic may catch players by surprise the first time, but with caution (it is almost 90% chance they will sling), players can easily counter it using militia lines. The game is then ruined because the AI wastes a huge amount of resources on tax and weakens itself by not developing properly.

Since slinging is prohibited in tournaments, why is it allowed for the AI?

Slinging is (sometimes) prohibited in tournaments because a proper sling strategy is OP. A fully developed player can deal devastating damage against multiple less-developed players.

Extreme AI is supposed to be as hard as it can be (without any actual cheating), so any strategy (or micro) is fair game. But even extreme AI has exploitable weaknesses.
