Ich habe das Problem das, das Spiel bei mir schnell nicht Spielbar ist. Wenn ich ein Match aufmache 2 vs 2 Deathmatch, Ich mit noch einem KI gegen 2 andere KI`s geht es die ersten 10 Minuten Recht flüssig.
Aber nach der Zeit geht das mit dem Ruckeln Los. Alle Einstellungen sind extrem langsam. alle 2 sec mal eine Bewegung. Auch definitiv UNSPIELBAR! Was kann ich dich tun tun? Bin am Verzweifeln…
Mein Laptop Ist ein I7 6700QM mit 16 GB RAM hat eine 980 GTX mit 4 GB Verbaut und eine 512 SSD.
Die Empfohlenen Systemanforderungen sind 8 GB Arbeitsspeicher. Da ist der Flaschenhals bei deinem PC.
Entweder aufrüsten (min 8 GB oder 16 GB Ram)
Ansonsten kann man versuchen die Auslagerungsdatei manuell einzustellen um so den PC zu ermöglichen Dateien zwischen zuspeichern.
PC zeige mir mit dem Tool MSI afterburner die CPU GPU und RAM auslastungen immer an. Bei Aoe 2 DE sind immer bei mir über 10 GB RAM belegt während des spielends.
Looking at your specs it appears that the slow down might actually be your i7 CPU (I believe it is 5 years old). Unfortunately, they isn’t much you can do to solve that other than making certain that you aren’t running any other programs in the background (this includes antivirus software, discord, web browser, etc.).
You could also try turning all the graphical settings down to the lowest and run the benchmark to see if you get better performance. If so, then you can continue tweaking the graphical settings to get a good balance between performance and graphical quality.
No, the RAM shouldn’t be a problem here. I guess @Tenoso has read the VRAM as main RAM by mistake.
Also, I don’t really think that the CPU is the problem. My girlfriend is runnig AoE 2 DE on my old gaming PC with a i5 2500K without any problems.

Stell nochmal sicher, dass der Treiber der 980 korrekt installiert ist und prüfe in den nVidia Systemeinstellungen, ob das Spiel auch wirklich mit der 980 gestartet wird und nicht etwa mit der integrierten GPU vom 6700QM. Vielleichts liegt’s auch an sowas.
… bei mir ruckelt AoE II erst seit ca. 2 Monaten, AoE III von Anfang an. Ich habe aber 8GB RAM, weit über 10 GB Auslagerungsdatei-Platz, der Graphik-Treiber ist aktuell und auch sonst alles, was das Programm benötigt. Interessant ist, dass AoE II vorher sehr gut gelaufen ist, und erst seit einiger Zeit nicht mehr. Ich habe aber, zumindest bewusst, kein Update vorgenommen. Es scheint eher ein Programmfehler zu sein. Microsoft-Mist, wie es scheint…
Have the same problem, funily only if I play campains. If I play a self made game it runs perfect. Can it be that the browser is reducing the perfomance?
