Fanart Civ : The Korea Civ
Hello again guys… Today I have a new fanart idea about “One of the 3 Civilization that stand side by side with the Chinese and the Japanese in East Asia….located in between west of Japan and east of China that is located in certain peninsula
"KOREA CIV"
In this civ, I present to you important core mechanic and its detail that differentiate them from other civs :
- There is system called “Three Paths of Harmony” (삼도의 조화, Samdo-ui Johwa)
There are 3 paths in this system as the title suggest :
- Earth Path (Ji, 지) : the Earth grant you its blessings by
Grant your Classic Age myth units by 5% increased healthpoint
Grant your Heroic Age myth units by 10% increased healthpoint + 5% increased armor
but in Mythic Age, those bonuses being removed and replaced by giving you 2 instead of 1 myth unit in Mythic Age …increasing your chance of victory
- Humanity Path (In, 인) : the Humanity support you by its most renowned history in appearance of 6 heroes. Each heroes is separated by 2 for each Ages… so that mean in Classic Age, you granted 2 heroes, for Heroic it is 2 too and in Mythic it is the same (for each Age, you get to choose 1 hero from 2 heroes choice)
The 6 heroes are :
Classic Age :
- Gangnim (Fighter) : One of King of Gwayang kingdom’s king (Gimchi Wonnim) army’s general that being sent to the Underworld with task to bring Yeomra (Korean God of the Dead) back to the kingdom
- Jumong (Marksman) : Founder and legendary king of Goguryeo that is rumoured to be son of Haemosu (God of Sun) and Yuhwa (Willow Goddess)
Heroic Age :
- Bari (Support) : Princess who being abandoned by her parents that when become adult… later journey to the Underworld to get elixir that can heal her sicken parents, revered as Guider of Souls because she can manage to travel the Underworld way in and out with ease
- Baek Ga (Assassin) : Baekje noble and powerful minister under King Dongseong. Baek Ga led a rebellion and was involved in the assassination of King Dongseong in 501 CE…
Mythic Age :
- Dangun (Tank) : = Founder and King of Gojoseon who said to be son of Ungyo, bear who turned to female human thanks to Hwanung and married Hwanung
- Dosa (Mage) : Mystical practitioner of Daoist arts in early Korean kingdoms like Goguryeo and Silla, often serving as an alchemist, astrologer, and geomancer. In legend, Dosa were known to command the forces of nature, summon spirits, and manipulate energy flow (Qi)
- Heaven Path (Cheon, 천) : the Heaven Path grant your Shinmok Tree ability to gain favor faster by placed near House buildings and protect them by :
Archaic Age : 2.5% increased armor + 2 favor gathering increased
Classic Age : 5% increased armor + 7 favor gathering increased
Heroic Age : 7.5% increased armor + 20 favor gathering increased
Mythic Age : 15% increased armor + 50 favor gathering increased
Wonder Age : 25% increased armor + 100 favor gathering increased
- In this Korean Civ, the Temple building being replaced with Shinmok Tree (Sinmognamu (신목나무)) that is place where you train myth units… also gathering place for Shamans to do their ritual replacing Temple building (Max.10 Shamans / Shinmok Tree)
- Also, in this Civ… Korean store the Wood and Gold into one building
