[Feature Request] Improved UI Interactions

I believe some UI interactions are very bothersome and add up unnecessary load into actions that should be more intuitive. For example, when the unit/building you’re selecting has a secondary UI panel and is not a villager, the game prompts you to use a hotkey (by default the Y key) in order to access that secondary panel. That is on itself not a bad UI choice, but the problem comes when you have to quickly press that button in order to do the action you want. If you want to queue up units using a White Tower Landmark or using infantry to build several rams, for example, you will see yourself doing these inputs:

1 - Select Building/Unit.

2 - Press Y.

3 - Press the shortcut for the unit you want to make.

4 - Repeat steps 2 and 3 until you have the desired amount.

Note that you have to repeat step 2 for each cycle.

That is a very bothersome cycle, if you compare that to other, more intuitive, UI interactions such as the usual cycle:

1 - Select Building

2 - Press the shortcut for the unit you want to make.

3 - Repeat step 2 until you have the desired amount.

This is often not noticeable on the “making rams with infantry” scenario since you often only want to make a few rams and you will manually select what units make those rams each time, but if you are trying to use a special building like a Keep to make units, which is very common as English and Lancaster, you end up having to face those loaded inputs way more often.

My suggestion is to add a way to edit what goes in the secondary and what goes in the main UI panel for each building/unit, making the menus way more customizable or at least add a variant input option such as “Access Secondary UI Panel (Hold)” which behaves exactly like the original but doesn’t require you to mash Y every time you want to queue up something.
