I’m a little confused about which mod to download. The second one has the full description, as listed in this thread, while the first one has the most recent update.
I ran into an issue when trying your mod. There is an extra layer to your file that prevents the mod from working properly.
To get rid of it, put the mod files into a compressed folder instead of the entire mod folder. Like this
and then upload whatever zipped file you get.
Overall it seems like a cool mod. It always bothered me that Mexico could not build a town center without villagers and I like the unit upgrade names.
Interesting, thks for let me know about this. Will look into it right away!
Someone pointed this one out too. I do not know why there are two uploads. This is my first mod, probably my bad in some way. WIll look into it.
I like very much this mod, very flavorful. However, the newest update seems to not work…at all. All things that the past iteration had included, like the unit’s upgrades names, don’t work anymore. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
Thnks for letting my know This. My local mod runs with no issue, may be the one postes have something wrong. I updated the file .zip. Let My now if This solved the issue.
Im about to finish the Maya (Chan Santa Cruz) updated. And Will updated the full file again.
It seems like there is still an extra layer in your mod when it gets uploaded which prevents the mod from working properly. This part of this video was helpful to me when I was having this issue https://youtu.be/od0uwhrlAW0?si=Q_VYp8nmxw23bzGL&t=217 It is for AOE2 though.
Tnks! I uploadedthe new zipfile! let mw know if this works
It seems to work now
New Update Guys!
May the 5th and “La batalla de Puebla” has begun! to celebrate this thay a NEW update with some updated visuals is here
Mexican Dragoon NEW Uniform
New uniform for ALL ages to the Mexican Dragoon. Inspired on the 1800s Federal Army Dragoons. The Mexican Escolta visual update is here.
SHIPMENTS
Criollos Card → Ejército Realista de la Nueva España
Historically speaking the “Ejército Realista “ fought against Mexico in name of the Spainish Monarchy. But, I decided to give them their space and mention in this mod with the “Criollos” Card, which I think is a reference to this army and many others who fought In mexicos’ fight for independence.
Inspired in the 1800s Spanish Uniforms the ConsulateSpanishMusk becomes a “Realist Soldado” Ready to restore order in the name of Spain “Plvs Vltra”!
Spanish Sympathizers → Presidial Lancers
Presidial Lancers were a common trooper in Mexico. Their job: to Patrol, fight invaders and Natives as well as keep the Presidios (Forts) standing. Inspired in the 1820s Lancer Uniform the Presidial Lancers take the place of the Spanish Garrochistas in the Presidios (Forts)
NOTE: Presidial Troopers used the Cross of Burgundy as their Flag, so I include it on ther outfit.
Tulancingo Cuirassiers
The Tulancingo Cuirassiers distinguished gold with blue and red uniforms are here! Beware, New icon, and NEW Portrait for this Champions of Mexican Army!
Feliz 5 de Mayo! mexican music plays on background
Your Presidial/Jalisco Lancers look great!
And those Soldados have quite a distinctive look. I would prefer not to use a Soldado body for the appareance of a Musketeer. I have done it, and it was confusing.
Thanks and I agree about the soldado, I run some tests and at the end I choose the soldado over the musk (mostly because of the uniform and hat options). I added a Decal in the selection, to differentiate the Mexican Soldado and the Soldado Realista.
¿Sabes algo?
