Feedback - Environmental / Ambient audio

Hey Relic,

Love the game, one thing I’ve noticed since the team has been inching the camera further and further out is the falloff from ambient audio (birds, crickets, etc.). Essentially, half of the amazing ambient audio isn’t audible during normal gameplay (must zoom in to hear). What’s everyone’s thoughts on raising the “ceiling” of ambient noise before falloff occurs?

To test it out, take a listen to Taiga Summer. Zoomed out literally misses so many amazing effects.

Yea I sometimes zoom in by accident and I am surprised by the sheer amount of detail in the fighting sounds when units clash. This should be a setting at least if they don’t want to change it for everyone.
