An American-inspired siege ship for the NA civs was the one thing I was excited for in the marine rework, and it’s not even real 
I think fishing animation would make more sense
Also I’ve seen people say the warship triangle should be changed to Hulk > Galley > Fire > Hulk instead of Gallery > Hulk > Fire > Galley and I agree.
2DE should get (at least) one extra column as well
They could’ve still stayed true to OG.
For starters Fire Ship becoming Melee regional replacement for Byzantines, Armenians, Saracens, Koreans, Chinese. While Hulk becoming the Melee ship for everyone else. Galley still being used as range option like Chronicles. There you go nothing changed.
Also I still dont understand the reasoning behind separate Demo line. I remember they were weakened. Then what’s the point of keeping Demo separate upgrade line? Ship already is huge investment and situational. Not even a good way to return to Docks and salvage its resources back to stockpile with lesser investment return.
