Field siege weapons need to have units garriosned inside to move and operate

The field weapons are way too powerful, once they roll they cannot be stopped, on top of that you get to keep the builders. The field weapons should not be able to move and operate by themselves, they need to have 5 or 4 units garrisoned inside in order to move and operate. This will take away units from field, having field siege like rams take 1 pop and then having units out in battle on top of that is ridiculous. The reduction in fire armor is not doing any help, vills can easily get snipped and in later game it’s very hard to defeat rams as they can be amassed now.

I don’t know much balance wise, as I am not a competitive player, and i never build rams. but I agree cause it just seems very strange to me to see a sentient wooden ram rolling around.

Agreed. It would be nice if they behaved like AoE 2 rams: The more people inside, the faster it moves and the harder it hits, which makes sense because it is the people inside the ones rocking the pole (or whatever name it has). It would also be nice if, unlike AoE 2, the ram did not function at all with zero people inside.
