First 2022 AoE III civ DLC speculation

Be patient, good things take time to arrive.

I just want the AI fixed before this new civ comes out lol

These new DLCs are probably waiting for the AoE4 update and the beginning of the AoE4 seasons. It seems weird but maybe its true.

In other words, nothing will happen before AoE4 gets attention first.

I’m looking forward to testing out this theory.

Of course I think exactly the same
and on porto they are taking longer than the account because they are also making the dlcs for aoe 3 DE and that you want or not requires time too

Yes, it is not funny to play new civs with the broken AI xd

Of course, remember that first of all is aoe 4 then comes all the rest of DE editions

When is update aoe4 coming?
But i think half march we get the new civ.

I think post-colonial civs like the US and Mexico are nice time fillers between the bigger DLCs. I think a good solution would be:

  1. Brazilians DLC - The first DLC in 2022
  2. Big DLC (Europe, Asia, Middle East, South American natives or Africa) - Second DLC in 2022
  3. Gran Colombia - Third DLC in 2022

PS: It would be nice if Gran Colombia, like the Mexicans, would contain a native civilization (Mexicans can turn into Mayans). Muisca contained in Gran Colombia civ would be a great choice. Muisca as a highly developed pre-Columbian civilization similar to the Maya would be a great contrast to the Maya in Mexico civ.

By the way, it’s a pity that the Muisca are underrated so the best opportunity to introduce them in this game is precisely to include them in the Gran Colombian civ.

There are 3 North American native civs and unfortunately there are only 1 South American native civs.

The Incas, being a pre-Columbian, highly developed civs, are a perfect contrast to the Aztecs.

South American counterparts of the Iroquois and Lakota would be in handy. The strongest candidates for this are Tupi and Mapuche. I think AoE 3 DE players would like to play with these civas.

Then it would be compared to the number of native American civs. Both North America and South America would each have 3 civs (a total of 6 native American civs in AoE 3 DE).

From a cultural standpoint, Mesoamerica stands apart from the rest of North America as much as South America stands apart. The Aztecs need a counterpart in Mesoamerica, and South America needs one more civ. The Mapuche and the Zapotec for both regions would do well.

I think your theory is the correct one.

brasil foi lotado de imigrantes europeus e asiåticos também infelizmente também os africanos sendo forçado a escravidão

I really hope it’s not brazil.

Could be Morrocco.

The devs never finished them in time to release with AR so unless a 2nd African DLC is planned they’d be a candidate for a single civ DLC.

Yeah I’ve been hoping for Morocco since before mexico was released.

I really their aesthetic if the unit’s models in the Historical Battle are any indicator. Assuming the civ was halfway done I don’t see why they wouldn’t finish them.

I do think Brazil is only a matter of when not if. Hopefully, it ends with them as far as post-colonial civs are concerned. Time to leave the Americas for a bit.

I don’t get the appeal of Morroco, where they very active as a nation during this time?

They ended the Portuguese empire (temporarily) and Songhai empire (permanently) and raided all over Europe. They expanded quite far into Africa too.

Cool. What bonus would you give them? African age ups? Goats instead of cows? Annoying some of there age up alliances will overlap with Hausa
