Hi, i just bought AoE DE in Steam and the game goes to 30 fps lock ( the fps doesn´t go more down than 30 anytime) most of the time, not always, but is very frequently.
And i am only playing Singleplayer, campaigns, with only 50 max population.
Is this normal? or do i have some problem with my computer that i have to solve?
My specs:
- Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
- Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-9700K CPU @ 3.60GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.6GHz
- Memory: 16384MB RAM
- Graphic Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 (updated drivers)
And i play the game in these settings:
- 3440 x 1440 at first, but i changed to 2560x1440 and the performance was better but only a little.
- The graphics options: I only have the fog of war, i removed all others and the performance was improved but when there is like 20-30+ population the fps go to 30 anyway.
- Detail Zoom is 2x
