At the start of a 1v1 skirmish (vs. AI) match, the framerate is good (56 FPS on vsync), but when moving to areas with more objects (be it animals, units or even trees), it dips to 30, sometimes briefly less, and sometimes with microfreezes.
Relevant configuration elements:
Windows 10 x64 build 2004
Intel Core i7-7700 processor (4 cores @ 3.6 GHz each)
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 (3 GB VRAM version) with driver version 456.71
8 GB RAM
Hard drive (not SSD)
Star Wars: Squadrons runs without issue with high graphics settings at 60 FPS on this same computer.
Fire whoever told you to put Arxan DRM in the game and make sure they’re never employed in a game company again.

Can you let us know the level that you have your graphics options set to? Could you also reply with a copy of your DxDiag?
Is the game saved to any drive other than your C: drive? If so, could you try moving it back to your C: drive?
@Licidy, an update - with today’s patch (100.12.3552.0), and with the “No AA” setting, the problem is somewhat less exaggerated, but still very much present.
