If you complete 16 challenges, you get all the rewards, including the mayor god portrait.
So that means you can unlock a reward per week.

I hope they make some of the old rewards available again someday. I really want the Thoth profile pic but its from a past event…

It’s from a new event because I’ve played all the previous events. It appeared recently with this new pin-up community event, so you haven’t missed it.
