Game crashes when playing multiplayer games, can’t predict when

I just got a crash in singleplayer, the log file also contains

Exception type 0xc0000005 occurred at

really upset by all instability of this game …

I’ve been able to play consistently since launch…until the last few weeks. Now every game crashes once I start a skirmish. Sometimes it crashes shortly after my town center is built, sometimes it crashes after moving my civ up a level or two, but it always crashes.
If I start it from Steam, it resets the computer. If I start it from the .exe file, it just crashes the game.
I reported it to the AOE Support folks along with the dump file, but just received the standard list of actions they give anyone (check drivers, verify file integrity, etc.).
Bizarre that I was able to play for months and suddenly can’t. It isn’t an issue with specs, because I’ve been playing Amazon New World Closed Beta for 4 or 5 hours at a time.
Similar to others, at this point, I’ll just have to shelve the game…

Hi, I am sorry to hear that, in order for us to investigate it, could please provide us with the .mdmp and the log file? those are found in C:\Users<YOUR USER>\Games\Age of Empires 2 DE\logs, and have a date-time format, so if you experience this issue again just go to that folder and attatch the last .mdmp and log file you have which will match the current date and time
