The game isnt’t displayed correctly. It seems like the line of sight doesnt match the buildings/units. Both layers are about half a screen displaced.

  • 50% of the time / matches I play (FREQUENTLY)

If i dont restart the game it happens every game. After restarting it works for 1 game and then occurs again the next one.

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Start a game. If it didnt occur, start another one.

I would be able to play the game propperly. (at least as my elo allows me to play)

Same thing happend again. Stopped playing after it happend twice in ranked. In skirmish it happend more often.

Got exactly the same problem in singeplayer campaign.

Same problem, it happens everytime I restart a match or I play a new match.

Yeah… I have that too. Doesn’t matter if it’s singleplayer or multiplayer the first game after the restart is ok then it keeps happening.

Try going into options and messing around with the resolution that fixed it for me

yes its happenning to me as well, could not play ranked games when it happened, exactly like the images in this topic

LOL i wonder if this shit is tied to the display issue they changed for the font size.

not only the font looks terrible on low resolution, now it messes with the game too.

if it aint broken dont fix it

Well, the previous font was the broken font as well. Just the fix for it didn’t seem to fix it and we just got used to the broken font.

im not sure if it was broken, it’ll be how u;d define broken but it certainly was more clear.

If I take a screenshot and enlarge it in photoshop it was less blurry than the current font.

I know, and the current font is problematic and needs fixing as well, but the previous font was also worse than… well, the font from before that time. 11

They attempted a fix and it didn’t fix anything (actually broke more things), part of the job I guess. I hope they’ll manage to actually fix the problems soon.

For me it helps to go setting and change to full desktop mode. U can fix it in 5seconds. But always bad start then

So i worked out the easiest way to fix is, after each game hit “ALT” & “ENTER” key and then “ALT” & “ENTER” again so it cycles through window and fullscreen modes and resets it for your next game, so you dont have to do it at the start of each game or restart aoe2, You do it before you hit Find Match every time before find match :slight_smile:

Remember hit “ALT” & “ENTER” key on the find match screen

Hope this fix helps People
