Game does not start

Age of Mythology: Retold Report a Bug

Hello,

I have downloaded and installed AOM Retold without any difficulties. However, the game does not initiate. After a brief moment it instantly crashes. I have verified the “integrity of Game files” via Steam, re-installed the game (on Windows-hard drive and my second one), likewise no change.

I have tried every bug fix available. I updated my graphics drivers and so on. No changes.

And here is the funny thing: My mythlogs states that the game demands an older driver than the current one, which I am unable to get (and wondering how that can be the case in the first place…)

A quick supplement:

The odd thing about the drivers problem is that it’s an OLDER version that is said to be required! Also I have tried several older versions as well as the NEWEST one which did not have any positive effects either.
