Issue:
Hello,
My problem is that each time I launch Age of Empires 4, the game will always open in exclusive fullscreen mode despite me setting it to borderless each time. It started happening after the last major patch.
It’s a bit annoying for a double-monitor user, as my other screen and background apps get a bit funky when alt-tabbing.
Tried deleting any Windows apps like Outlook. It’s not the case of Nvidia app touching my settings, or at least I don’t think so.
Trigger Event:
Game opens and instantly reverts to the exclusive fullscreen.
Repro Steps:
- Open the game when using at least two displays. (Could be wrong.)
- Make sure you set Borderless screen at least once before lauching it for reproduction.
