I’ve been seeing an issue since the latest patch where after closing, a process remains active preventing subsequent launches of the game. This happens each time I close the game, requiring a manual kill from the task manager or full shutdown of the computer to resolve. The process shows as “GameLaunchHelper” under {drive}\Age of Empires IV\Content. I typically launch from the start menu shortcut and close via the standard option in the bottom right from the game’s main menu. Happy to provide any additional info that may help reproduce.
