Game not launching (xbox game pass)

Hey guys!
I purchased the Xbox game pass yesterday and wanted to try AOE 4. Before the download, it said that I need 85Gb of space which I had. When the download was over the game size was 35Gb so I assumed that it did not install yet but nothing happened after.
When I press the “Play” (included with game pass) the “Content Editor” starts instead of the game.
How do I start the game? is there an other launcher? another button? Or maybe from the install folder?

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, verifying/repairing and resetting Microsoft store and Xbox app.

I’m having the exact same issue. I have emailed support for an answer.

The solution is to launch the game from the executable file not from the xbox app.
Mine was here: Age of Empires IV\Content\RelicCardinal_ws.exe

This is something that really should be sorted by the devs. People might not know about the forum or the workaround.

I have the same problem here. When I try to launch from .exe file, it gives and error saying that I don’t have the permission to do so. Do you have any leads to solve this?
