I’ve been playing Age of Mythology Retold for a few days with no issues up until yesterday afternoon. I went into the graphics setting menu and was futzing around with things, and I believe it was when I changed the anti-aliasing setting that the game immediately crashed. I figured I could just restart and change the setting back -nope! The game wont even launch.
I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled, reinstalled my graphics card driver, used Geforce controller to try and force the graphics settings back to bare minimum, edited the config file to try and force the graphics settings, reinstalled C++, checked that it’s allowed through firewall, reinstalled Direct X. No luck. I’m hitting my head against the wall at this point trying to get it running again.
I’m launching through Steam.
Some computer specs:
