Game won't launch until reset in Windows Settings

  • Build (101.101.35209.0)
  • Platform (Microsoft Store)

Issue:

(Game simply won’t launch. It displays AOE 2 DE splash, then it suddenly disappears.)

Reproduction Steps:

  1. (Reset the game in Windows Settings.)
  2. (Launch the game, then exit.)
  3. (Try launching it again by clicking on it.)

HEY ! DEVELOPERS ! IT’S BEEN A MONTH SINCE I POSTED MY BUG REPORT ! WHY IS THAT ISSUE STILL NOT FIXED?! I CONSIDER ASKING FOR REFUND.

How do you even reset the game in Windows Settings (I’m guessing “Apps & Features”?) - I can only choose Uninstall there, and there’s no Advanced Options to click either.
I can’t start my game at all due to not being able to do this resetting :frowning:

This is because i have Microsoft Store version.

There’s no way to reset the app for the Steam version?!
