Gaunlet+AotG unplayable & disappeared UI in Gaunlet

Issue: No visible levels and Gaunlet UI & Delayed AoTG upon opening the game. (Initialization failed)

Trigger Event:

Simply reopened the game from Steam. I had already completed 1 or 2 levels in this Gaunlet Labyrinth. IMPORTANT: Gaunlet failed to load for a few minutes: Initialization failed notification as seen in the image above. Then I got a pop up: “Arena of the Gods Connection Error. Unable to claim rewards or save mission completion at this time.”

Repro Steps: Uknown, please check Trigger event.

It resolved … with patience. I attempted to click AoTG first after the error messages disappeared and the AOTG button in initial main menu became available (with patience).
