General Feedback UI & AI & Pantheon

Hi,

I found out two thing that bother me really much and one suggestion:

  1. When you play on random god setting, and you don’t remember what the god does…you can’t check(or at least I didn’t find it) - It would be good to have an icon like in Civilization 6, where you can click on your leader icon and read what he does. We could use such thing here with god.

  2. Ai…So: If you want to play some sims like game, do a cool forest city with Gaia, put some plants and have nice city builder, you do that only on difficulty level lesser than Hard.
On Hard, you need to min max or enemies will eat you - I get the idea, game is indeed hard, however, when you put bots on your side as well, and put them on Hard, they don’t do anything.

Through multiple games I’ve realized that bots in your team, on Hard, don’t act, they simply exist untill they get wiped out really hard and you’re left alone. This means that bots in the other team do play well. I’ve tried to put enemy bots on Hard and my on Titan and I didn’t have opportunity yet to test out how they work on normal map, because map that randomized had two pieces of land on each end of the map, surrounded by water and in the middle, there was a central land. Bots on both sides did build only on the islands that we initially started, moved a bit into the main land and that was it. They didn’t explore the main island, they never did any naval raids except for sending a ship to scout and that was it.

AI has a lot to learn tbh.

Regarding pantheons…Would be fun to see for once, something less common like Canaanite, Celtic, Slavic or Sumerian, even just as mods not an official thing. I’m just kinda fed up with always the same Norse, Greek, China concept

re:1 - there is tech tree button in top right… since original game. Did you even bother to go trough the buttons?

…thanks, yea I did, no idea how did I miss that 0.o I’m already something like 40h in retold. Perhaps I was too dragged into playing, thx for that haha

I definitely think this should be added in the future. I don’t know too much about Sumerian mythology, but I know they were one of the first civilizations in the world.
