[German/Prussian Revolution] Mega-Thread: Multiple Bugs with Cards, Voice Lines, Upgrades, and Pop Cap

GAME BUILD: V. 100.19.18309.0
PLATFORM: Steam / Microsoft Store
OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows 10 / 11

ISSUE EXPERIENCED:
I have encountered a collection of bugs specifically tied to the new German Confederates (Deutscher Bund) and Prussian Revolutions. They range from incorrect audio voice lines to broken speed stacking, broken pop caps, and missing upgrade triggers.

Here is the detailed list of issues:

1. Audio: Wrong voice line at Estates

  • Issue: Citizens/villagers play the incorrect voice line when sent to gather from an Estate (Gutshof). Since they gather coin, they should use the trader line (“Händler”), but they mistakenly play the farmer line (“Bauer”).

2. Card: “Blood Brothers” (Blutsbrüder) does not upgrade Native units

  • Issue: The “Blood Brothers” card included in the revolution deck fails to upgrade Native units to the Champion (Meister) level, even though that is its intended function.

3. UI: Phantom Pikeman Upgrade

  • Issue: The Pikeman upgrade technology is still visible and available for research in buildings, even though Pikemen can no longer be trained after the revolution.

4. Card: “Carlsbad Decrees” (Karlsbader Beschlüsse) missing Imperial Upgrades

  • Issue: This card is supposed to unlock all Imperial upgrades. However, Grenadiers and Mortar Ships (Mörserschiffe) are completely excluded and cannot be upgraded to Imperial status through this card.

5. Calculation Bug: “Fire Drills” (Feuer-Drills) resets Skirmisher speed

  • Issue: Sending the “Fire Drills” card resets previous infantry speed bonuses instead of stacking with them. For example: A Skirmisher with a base speed of 4.5 reaches 5.2 via previous upgrades. After sending “Fire Drills” (which should further increase speed), the previous bonuses are wiped, the card calculates only from the base value, and the unit drops back to 4.6 speed.

6. Card/Unit: “Avisos” Steamer unit transformation missing

  • Issue: On the Steamer ship unlocked via the “Avisos” card, the Prince-Chevaulegers are not being correctly replaced with Lithuanian Dragoons.

7. Logic Bug: Town Center loss destroys 10 Pop Cap despite 20 Houses

  • Issue: If you revolt with all Houses and Town Centers active, 20 Houses are built providing the full 200 population space. However, if you subsequently lose a Town Center, your maximum population cap drops by 10, even though the 20 Houses alone should still cover the full 200 population.

8. Card: “Prussian Lifeguard” (Preußische Leibgarde) undocumented replacement

  • Issue: Sending this card completely replaces normal Grenadiers with Giant Grenadiers (Riesen-Grenadiere) in the Artillery Foundry (GeschĂĽtzgieĂźerei). There is no balance reason for this, and it is completely missing from the card’s text description.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Start a game as Germans and revolt into Prussia or the German Confederates.
  2. Test the specific cards (“Blood Brothers”, “Fire Drills”, “Carlsbad Decrees”, “Avisos”, “Prussian Lifeguard”) to observe the broken upgrade paths, missing replacements, or faulty speed math.
  3. Delete/lose a Town Center while having 20 houses to see the pop cap drop to 190.
  4. Send a citizen to an Estate to hear the “Bauer” voice line.

Litauer Dragoons are also not being affected by cav upgrade cards before revolting.
