On ~ 90% of all Arabia maps, the main Gold and Berry spawns are exactly 2 tiles away from the town center range radius.
I wonder if this is on purpose.
If yes whats the reason?
For players who notice this spawn system, it is very easy to predict the enemys town center location, as soon as they scouted the Main Gold or Berries.
I would really like a bit more variety here.
Better than being pushed off gold/berries super easily.
he hasn’t seen the old arabia, where gold is surrounded by cliff
How would you know if i saw the old arabia or not
Seriously, your comment makes no sense at all
I guess you can’t seem to understand a joke where you see one
Wow, what an excuse.
This is a serious topic, so I expect serious answers.
If you wanna make jokes, go to the circus, clown.
Or at least declare it as a joke LUL.
There are lots of clues about the opponent’s TC that pros use extensively to avoid being caught in TC fire. Is that your main issue with this?
What you mean exactly? The rugs around tcs? I Wonder why they reduced the number of those with the last patch…
My main issue is that ive been playin this game since voobly times, when arabia was lookin completely different.
I want this map to be challenging and aggressive.
But i see that the devs make it as “noob friendly” as possible, and the majority of players likes it like that, it seems, so im wasting my time here…
Sure, rugs around TC, but also stuff like hills, woodlines, neutral golds, houses, etc. give hints about the TC position. I don’t think the hints are the issue.
I do agree that Arabia is still a bit too noob friendly, but it used to be much worse in the early DE days when Arabia had too many safe woodlines, a near absence of hills, and you only had to make a few houses and - boom - walled.
I wouldn’t mind resources such as berries and main gold being spawned further from the TC. I would also appreciate even more and bigger hills. TC placement is supposed to be a bit awkward on Arabia in my opinion.
All in all though, I’m not too dissatisfied with the current Arabia. It could be better, but I’ve also seen much worse. I just hope it doesn’t regress back to huge woodlines. We already have Black Forest and other maps for people who want that.
