Upon reaching Feudal Age, do you usually preserve the herdables in mills for the entire game, or you end up consuming them sometime in the mid-game?
Either consume them immediately or keep them garrisoned forever.
Sheep are a relatively inefficient food source that is only really good in early game because they don’t require wood investment like farms or micro like hunt.

Always build your mill immediately after your houses and garrison the sheep. First 6 villagers go to TC berries then you’ll be taking wood from stragglers until you can afford lumber camp. Also good to get first boar early so you don’t run out of TC berries.
