When researching the Hausa and Ethiopian technology “Royal Hunters” from the Livestock Market, your Villagers receive the +8 LoS but not the +4 range. This doesn’t line up with what the tooltip says it does.

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Start game as Hausa or Ethiopia
  2. Research the prerequisite tech “Tribal Societies” from the Livestock Market
  3. Research “Royal Hunters” from the Livestock Market and observe the lack of range increase

The Hausa/Ethiopian Villager’s range should increase by 4 after researching “Royal Hunters”.
