Hausa treaty is strong. It is my main civ in treaty. You can use cosair marksman from 10 towers. There are also palaces that you can spam all cannons from, even heavy cannon which is not trainable by even Europeans
Fulani age up is pretty much necessary in treaty Hausa just to get goat. If also allows archers to chop wood during treaty period.
the same damage vs heavy infantry I mean. the double damage vs other units, the problem is that not counter well the units that it should. Fulani has about 21 of damage 1.5 of rate of fire X1.5 vs heavy infantry, large attack aprox 30 of damage but the rate of fire is 3.0 and i’m not sure how it works. Strelet has 23 of attack X 3 vs heavy infantry rate of fire of 3.0. Then is not a cost-effective unit.
ayes, i agree, in 1v1 in other case u have to ask for sheeps, and it works well,
I did not write that Hausa is weak. Hausa works by his other units Maigadis, raiders, Lifidi, Javelins, natives, and heavy cannon has u said, maybe is one of the most balanced civs in the game but it has a problem with heavy infantry civs like swedes, or with halberdier spam, that’s the topíc. Maybe I should have titled the post The Fulani Archers Problem in Treaty or Late Game.
Maigadi deals with HI quite well. And they are easily spammable.
Fulani is meant to be less effective individually, but in a large group it is strong. The range really strengthen them in a group. And they are pretty tanky. While cosair marksman is the anti heavy infantry specialist. Tbey each play different roles.
Yeah hausa is strong but fulani is not weak. Fulani is not supposed to do that well vs halberdier spam. The cosair marksman is for it. Also use cannons behind, heavy infantry in front, then the cosair marksman will kill halbs easily. If you only response to halbs with fulani then of course it is bad
Fulani has the same range that normal skirm, depending on the age up could be more with fulani age up.Fulani makes 31 damage (but his rate of fire is 1.5) to heavy infantry if we compare it with corsair marksman (they make 93 damage vs heavy infantry). Then if Fulani doesn’t kill heavy infantry, what is his role? , in his description of the unit says that is effective vs heavy infantry.
No, it doesn’t kill fast the halbs, halbs eat Hausa army if there is no maigadi or artillery present in the field. I did not say that Fulani was weak, I said that they aren’t cost-effective, they are not efficient counter-units. Caroleans, soldados, landskenetch, or other high Hp heavy infantry units
embarrass the fulani. even good payers said that fulani sucks.
Akan ankobia will disintegrate your problems, with the exception of jaguar prowlers and doppelsoldners. With the area damage their dps is just really insane and they beat almost any heavy infantry and even light infantry often despite being countered by them. And ofc also beats cav. Best unit for Hausa together with the Lifidi
