Hero hotkey not working in Chinese campaign

Issue:

I have Shift+a (on an azerty keyboard) in order to find any heroes on my team. The problem is that it doesn’t work right now in the Chinese DLC and only targets a single Pioneer(hero). I thought there might be a conflict with another hotkey, but then I tried changing it into Shift+h. Still the same result and problem

The bug seems to be that it doesn’t select the campaign heroes, any other heroes from the imperial academy should be selected, hence why you could select the pioneer. I agree, it’s annoying. As a temporary workaround could be to just put the campaign heroes in a control group.
