Hero Oracles and Villagers should not be included in Select All Heroes

I’ve been playing a lot of Atlanteans. They’re super fun, however I think a big QoL upgrade would be to not include hero Oracles and Villagers in the select all heroes hotkey. It may seem counter-intuitive, but it makes sense.

Why?

Because you use select all heroes during combat, to target myth units mainly. If you upgrade villagers or oracles to heroes, then they will come to combat (which you never want). It makes the select all heroes hotkey useless, which is quite a disadvantage in certain scenarios. It has pretty much made me not upgrade those two units to heroes because of this annoying QoL issue.

Alternatively add a hotkey “Select all military heroes”

That definitely feels like an oversight, Oracles and villagers are non-combat units.

The hero hotkey is obviously for combat units so that they can be swiftly managed in a fight.

Same for Greek scouts, when I use the ‘Select all cavalry/army’ hotkey. While they can fight, I would rather have them fulfill their scout commands

Yeah agreed on the scout thing for sure

Agree.

The “select a hero” option could be for collecting relics, so it might make sense to include oracles and citizens in that hotkey. But “select all heroes” can only be for combat. So that hotkey should exclude oracles and citizens.
