Hey, does anyone remember Poland and Denmark?

A long time has passed since the official announcement of the new civilizations of Poland and Denmark, and although they announced their delay because they were going to arrive at the end of last year, they have not announced anything again this year and January is already leaving. Finally, I hope they announce something soon…

Rumors say that they will arrive at the end of this year. I in particular think it will be released in a couple of months or in the middle of the year.

One would hope they would at least get them out by the late spring so they’re out for the summer.

With the hatred that Microsoft seems to have for AOE3, I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re just looking for the worst time to release it.

Better, this way fewer people will buy it and maybe that will result in a thorn in their side. :smiling_imp:

For me it will be released in May like the previous DLC, since first in February Immortal Pillars will be released to raise AoM a bit…

What rumours? Random pessimists in this forum?

They used to be able to make multiple DLC a year so why should they have to delay a single DLC for a full year?

Why do you think they hate AoE3?

AoE3DE has a lot less players then AoE2DE and AoE4 despite being Free to Play and yet they still made huge free patches for the game.
AoE2DE is getting a lot less compared to the player numbers it has. The last 2 DLC weren’t even made by Forgotten Empires. New AoE2DE DLC have maybe like 10 new units max (besides Chronicles which had a lot more) while AoE3DE

A publisher can also just decide to stop supporting updating a game any time. That is completely in their right, like they did with AoE1DE. There was 0 new content added after release and it’s not even getting patches anymore.

A small trailer or teaser about it would be greatly appreciated, even just saying the names of the civs would be a positive at this point

That’s true…at least AoE 3 isn’t like AoE 1 DE…

Yeah, I think they’re developing the civs to then make a teaser with both, then an overview trailer for each one and finally the launch trailer… or else just a teaser trailer and then the launch trailer like with KotM…

If you do remember Poland and Denmark, you can forget them now.

How nice, you anticipated the best announcement expected

How badly my comments were framed…:sob:

Yes, it’s was all strange… although deep down I saw it coming, there was no info about the DLC and this was the final blow for AoE 3… I’m depressed and distressed, I’m crying inside… AoE 3 was my first RTS and seeing it die again is devastating…

I’d like to think so, too. Time will tell, although we know the general diagnosis, won’t know the prognosis just yet…
