In the main menu, when you open your profile, there is an entry called “highest achieved” which refers to your ranked tier. It can be decreased. That doesn’t match the definition of your “highest” tier ever reached.

Notice your “highest achieved” changed.

“Highest” should not change. Either you meant to name the entry “current” or you are not properly saving the highest.
