Hitboxes and outlines

The way things work at the moment it seems is that the hitboxes are the same as the outline of a unit/building. This is very very annoying as the outline of the building is often bigger then the building itself, making it really hard to move the units under a building without them just attacking it instead.

Similar to this, there is a deadspace in the middle of very large buildings such as community plazas and agra forts that makes it very strange command vils to build them. the build cursor only shows up on the edges.

Ships have the opposite problem, their hitboxes seems to somehow be smaller than the outline and so hovering over them to attack for frigates and other ships is a pain

I have seen this issue also being reported for aoe 2 de as well so this is probably an old problem that has come to the fore due to the new graphics but this seriously needs to be adressed.

Either
a) make the outlines more clear and distinguishable then the ground surrounding the building so that its visually clear where the hitboxes are without hovering over or
b) make hitboxes just the building parts of the building and not the outline.

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. play a game and hover the mouse over to find the attack and build icon on units
