If I right click in the below screenshot, the game interprets it as a move command and the vill doesn’t start building the mill.
Hitboxes sometimes bug out like this, leading to frustrating situations.

This is an issue with picking up the treasure chests in the campaign too. It’s a bit frustrating to have to right click several times to find the right pixel.

Similar issue so did not create a new topic but can if needed. Villagers basically block the hitbox forcing you to move them in order to click on something underneath like for building a farm:
