Hotkey file - Share hotkeys with other computer

Hi everyone,

In the previous versions of AoE2, the hotkeys were stored inside a file in the game’s directory, named player0.hki, which you could copy from one computer to another to “install” the hotkeys, create a backup by storing the file, share the file with friends to share hotkeys, etc.

Is there a way of sharing hotkeys between computers in AoE2DE? Is there a hotkey file?

I got the answer on Steam, user neikeq, thanks!

The .hki file is located at:
%USERPROFILE%\Games\Age of Empires 2 DE\YourSteamIDnumber\profile

Hi,

is there a way to backup my hotkeys (MS store version), and give it to a friend (steam version) who is playing it via steam?

any ideas ?

C:\Users\userName\Games\Age of Empires 2 DE\UNIQUENUMBER\profile
