Okay so i’m new to age of empires 4. Got it for the xbox series x. Been playing for about 3 weeks. Love it. Started on controller and then switched to keyboard and mouse on my console. I finally found someone with the same problem on reddit but that post was a year old. So this hasn’t been fixed and note it’s a console issue. Are you kidding me? What are the devs doing? So i tried changing my hotkeys for selecting all barracks, selecting all stables, selecting all town centers, etc. whatever hotkey i put, it doesn’t respond. So apparently whatever is “empty” on the default keys you can’t change it even if you hotkeyed it to what you want. I believe it’s a bug for “building selection”. Please fix this issue. I really don’t understand how this hasn’t been fixed. Extremely disappointed.
That’s very interesting, this would normally work on PC.
i messaged customer support. but seeing how this problem has been going on for a year. i do not think they will do anything about it.
It’s unfortunately common with many of the bugs in the game to go unaddressed for long periods of time.

Customer support did get back to me earlier today but all they said was to reboot my xbox and controller but i am not using controller. Guessing its a bot messaging me back cause i specifically put mouse and keyboard on xbox series x. My xbox is up to date also. I figured they would be on top of all these bugs. Especially ones that have been going on for over a year. Is there anything else i can do to try and get the devs attention on fixing this?
